Chord of Three was organized in 1998 by sisters Brenda Woodson and Judy Whaley. The third member of the group was Alexius Frost, cousin. At the time she was 11 years old. In 2001, this group recorded their first project, titled Movin'. Alexius left the group in August 2003. Melissa McCullough stepped in at that time as lead singer. In the spring of 2005 this group completed their first project, It Was Love. |

It Was Love, the title song of our latest project, made the top 20, coming in at #19, on the April Power Source Christian Country Top 100. |

| February 2006 |

In February of 2006, we were notified by the Country Gospel Music Guild that our radio release, Are You Washed In The Blood had gone #1 on their national top 80 and that it would be reflected on the March chart. |

Chord of Three was awarded the Favorite Female Group of the Year by the Music City Gospel Showcase on June 17, 2006. |
